for the upcoming Butts Collective.
this month featured scenes from childhood, so here’s me trying to stuff as many polly pockets into my mouth as possible. i tried the same with legos. because i was four. that’s about it.
oh, and for the record, i had horrible teeth as a kid, so consider this portrait historically accurate.
for you, tumblr, since you seem to love pizza as much as you love cats, the 90s, and porn.
this piece is part of the newly established Pictures of Butts (or Butts Collective) group that my fellow illustrators and i are a part off. it’s new, it’s hip, it’s “with it,” and it should be up and running later this evening. we’re trying to make this a real deal, so please follow it for hot, smokin’ new illustrations every month!
also, i have a new comic up, so do check it out and then promptly go back to whatever it was you were doing.
stay connected with your friends, even on the go! thanks to facebook mobile.

did you know…
Kenneth Bianchi, one of the two Hillside Stranglers, had a bed wetting problem that stayed with him into his adolescence. it was so bad, that his mother (being batshit crazy, like most moms of serial killers) forced him to wear feminine pads.
before slaughtering humans, Jeffery Dahmer was known to have dissected/mutilated dead animals. however, he was quite fond of living ones. darling, really.
the Night Stalker, Richard Ramierez was a well known drug addict/satanist, but he was also a chronic candy eater. skipping regular visits to the dentist (like most drug addicts) left him with tooth decay and unforgiving halitosis.
the more you know!
read more about my Fun Facts About Serial Killers book
so that’s how the book was made.
and everything was awesome.
they were REAL fun facts, too. i did my research with this one. i spent the entire quarter working on this book, collecting facts, story-boarding, illustrating, painting, laying out pages, and then physically assembling the entire monstrosity together.
it was a bitch.
but also, very successful.
so successful, that the professor kept my book. the only copy. trapper-keeper case folder and all.
there were 14 killers/facts/illustrations, but only 3 of them were fully finished works.
always.
watercolor & ink, 10x16
i make stupid little paintings of my friends.
self-portrait.
this is why i should never be a journalist.
i would only ever draw pictures and make up some stuff.
